Chemical peels

Chemical peels can improve the appearance of the skin. In this treatment, a chemical solution is applied to the skin, which makes it a "blister" and eventually peels off. The new skin is generally smoother and less wrinkled than the old skin.
There are three basic types of chemical peels:
Surface or lunchtime peel:
Alpha-hydroxy acid or any other mild acid is used to gently flush out only the outer layer of skin. The treatment is used to treat mild skin discolouration and rough skin, as well as to refresh the face, neck, chest, or hands.
Medium peel:
Glycolic or trichloroacetic acid is applied to penetrate the outer and middle layers of the skin to remove damaged skin cells. The treatment is used to improve age spots, fine lines and wrinkles, freckles and discoloration of the middle skin. It can be used to lubricate rough skin and treat some skin growths, i.e. actinic keratosis.
Deep peel:
Trichloroacetic acid or phenol is applied to deeply penetrate the middle layer of the skin to remove damaged skin cells. The treatment removes medium lines, age spots, freckles and shallow scars. Patients will see a dramatic improvement in skin appearance. The process is used on the face and can only be done once.
Microneedling

Microningling increases the production of collagen and other healing factors by traumatizing the skin.
Collagen is an essential protein that helps the skin look younger with a firm, smooth and stretchy texture.
Maging causes collagen degradation in the skin, contributing to wrinkles and other signs of aging.
Skin can also lose collagen due to injuries, such as acne scars, stretch marks or other scars.
It is important to realize that microneedling is not a quick fix, as it involves new skin growth. It can take several months for a person to see the full results of the process.
